KATIE KNOWS WHAT IT MEANS TO BUILD SOMETHING REMARKABLE AND feel empty INSIDE.
Katie Shannon is a Leadership Immersion Advisor and experiential strategist whose work lives at the intersection of high-performance culture, human transformation, and the kind of white-glove experience design that turns a room into an unforgotten memory.
She works with founders, artists, and General Partners of venture capital firms who have built something the world admires and are ready to build the version of themselves their legacy deserves.
The foundation was forged in the most demanding rooms in the world.
Her career began inside the highest-stakes hospitality environments in luxury — Four Seasons, InterContinental, Capella Hotels — negotiating contracts, producing private events, and learning what it means to design an experience where every second is expertly designed and intentional.
That mastery led her deeper. She oversaw operations and VIP hospitality across four privately owned residential properties for a well-respected family office, serving as a trusted advisor to the family's standards, planned gatherings, and evolving vision. She later co-founded 2622 — a Georgetown event and community space — in direct partnership with a D.C.-based real estate developer and family office, living firsthand what it means to build something alongside people whose personal and professional lives are intertwined at every level.
For the last seven years, she has served as a leadership advisor to some of the most driven founders, world-class creative artists, and General Partners of venture capital firms in the country. That work gave her something most experiential producers and advisors simply don't have — fluency in what actually keeps these people up at night.
What she found at the intersection of her past and her present: the most well-resourced people in the world aren't lacking capital, strategy, or resources. They're missing a room built to transform them.
Katie has guided a Co-Founder and CFO through a period of hypergrowth, from $77M in revenue to $239.1M and a $4.1B acquisition within two years without self-abandonment. She transformed the six founding partners of STURDY., the creative force behind Bad Bunny’s Puerto Rican residency design, into a cohesive executive team that doubled headcount, grew net income by 70%, and earned a spot on the Inc. 5000, all while scaling their leadership capabilities and closeness.
She has guided a NYT Bestselling author in launching her own publishing imprint, supported a serial founder in raising $20M for his biotech company, and worked alongside Grammy award-winning artist managers.
Katie has led workshops at the Kellogg School of Management's Venture Capital Club, served on multiple non-profit boards, and holds a degree in Psychology from Auburn University. She is based in Los Angeles and works with clients across the U.S. and globally.
When she’s not amplifying her clients' aliveness through one-of-a-kind leadership immersive experiences, you can find her walking the beach in Malibu, soaking in the wisdom of the ocean and the canyons, or on the dance floor.
“I want to be the most alive version of myself and serve others who know they deserve the same.”
